Who needs salvation?

In a mighty nation

Full of transformation

Is it really necessary for this generation!

I’m a slave to sin‎

I am not free

I need to see

The Light that gives me peace

I am a free soul

I am not captive to religion

Who needs saving anyway?

It’s beautiful, isn’t it?

I am in bondage

The guilt inside is too much

My heart is weary

My body is faint

I’m broken inside I know

But I’m going to fix myself

Why need a savior?

Someone who couldn’t save himself from the cross?

I am hurting inside

Slowly dying

I need you Jesus

Come and set me free!

Is heaven even real?

I got a girlfriend you know

She tells me religion is crap

She’s an amazing woman

My girlfriend and best friend can’t even match your love!

Your love for me is unconditional

You turn my broken pieces into a masterpiece

You pursue me constantly

Why do you love me?

I am not ready for this

I don’t want it

Stay with your salvation

Who needs salvation anyway?

My pillow is full of tears

I can hardly see

My eyes are swollen

I need you Lord!

Because even when I don’t know who I am

You remind me I am yours

Because even when I have sinned countless times

You still love me

Because even after I have denied you more times than I can remember

You still want to use me

Because even after you called me out upon the waters, and my faith was weak

You still hold my hand

Because even when I’m slowly dying inside

You are constantly calling me out to life

That is who you are Jesus

Your nature unchanging

Your love constant

You grace abundant

The grave is empty

He overcame the cross

So when you ask me who needs a savior?
