The Daystar Christian Fellowship (DCF) is the umbrella body for all student-led ministry activities and fellowship. These ministry activities provide opportunities for life and spiritual growth through discovery of gifts and talents and providing opportunities to utilize them.

Statement of Faith

  1. All members of DCF shall profess faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour; and shall satisfy Chaplaincy through the Executive committee of their sound Faith and Practice of the Christian Doctrine.
  2. All DCF members shall ascribe to the following doctrinal basis;
    1. The Tri-unity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in the God-head. (Col. 2:9, Jn. 16:12-15).
    2. The sovereignty of God in the creation, revelation of the Holy Scriptures, redemption and final judgment. (Dan. 4:25, Rev. 4:11)
    3. The divine inspiration and entire truthfulness of the Holy Scriptures originally given and its supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. (II Tim. 3:16).
    4. The universal sinfulness of all men since the fall, rendering them subject to God’s wrath and condemnation. (Rom. 3:23-24).
    5. Redemption from the guilt, penalty, dominion and pollution of sin solely through the Lord Jesus Christ the incarnate son of GOD. (Jn. 3:16, Rom. 10:9).
    6. The bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead and His ascension to the right hand of God the Father. (Acts 2:31-33).
    7. The presence and power of the Holy Spirit in the work of regeneration. (Jn. 16:7-13, Rom. 8:26).
    8. The justification of sinners by the grace of God through faith alone. (Eph.2:5 & 8, Heb. 10:38, Titus 2:1).
    9. The indwelling and work of the Holy Spirit in every believer. (Jn. 14:17, Jn. 14:26).
    10. The one holy universal church, which is the body of Christ to which all time believers, in unity belong. (Eph. 5:30, Eph. 4:15-16).
    11. The expectation of the return of the Lord Jesus Christ and subsequent eternal life of the holy universal church in Heaven with Him. (Rev. 1:17, Rev. 20:11-15).
    12. The teaching of all nations and making disciples through baptism in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Matt. 28:19-20, Jn. 3:5, Rom. 6:3-4, Acts 8:36-38).
